There have been known issues with On Demand.  On Demand is very similar to a live TV/server transmission and it is the most prone to issues when their are server problems.  You can try a reboot of the box.  After that, wait for about 30 minutes for any new data to download related to On Demand and try your show(s) again.  Note that if you have any splitters, you may want to remove them, as they can reduce signal quality by anywhere from 50-90%.

 

If this is a signal issue, the problem will either not be resolved or will come back in a few days after a box reboot.  If the problem keeps coming back, you will need to contact Spectrum for a service call for a signal and drop line test.  When you set up the appointment do not reboot any boxes, modems, or routers for at least six hours prior to your service call!  Resets of the equipment will reset the signal levels.  The tech needs to see the signal levels and read the error codes.  When the tech comes, tune to the On Demand stations that are not working so that he can take a signal reading.  A swapped box will never solve bad signal levels.
