Its too complicated to fix online just thought I'd ask in case it was something more common with Spectrum guide problems, etc.
I didn't mean my picture was dark, I'm taking about when scenes are dark, like at night especially with fire burning. The low bitrate and high compression can really show up rather bad. Some channels/shows are really bad. The larger the screen the worse it is. The Terror on AMC recently had scenes at night in the snow, it was breaking up so bad it was funny to watch. Where as streaming blows pictures like that away. Since Spectrum recently turned analog off here it would be nice if they ACTUALLY increase quality instead of just saying the words. Banding is terrible on most channels including premium channels. Its just a fact an playing with words won't change it. I have experience in that field and know it well.

Thanks,
I would get your signals checked. Call Spectrum. Remember, don't reboot anything for six hours before your appointment.
