So if I'm on channel 42 and press the channel down button, I don't go to 41; rather 102 or 403, etc. I do not have any channel "Favorites" (eg., the Favorites list is empty). This issue is affecting all remotes for my three TVs, so I don't think it's a battery issue.
Hey JR,
As this is an issue affecting all of the remotes on the TV's. Check to see that your Guide Filter is receiving all channels in the Time Grid. On my guide, you press the Settings button twice and select "All Channels." If that doesn't work, the next step would be to do a cold reboot of all the boxes:
- Turn off all boxes
- Unplug for several minutes
- Plug back in all boxes
- After bootup, test the channel up/down functionality.
If that doesn't work, you must contact Spectrum for a signal and drop line test. Do not reboot any equipment for six hours prior to your service call. (No reboots of boxes, modems, or routers.) The tech needs to see the error codes, which a reset of equipment will force back to zero.
If the signal and drop line test is good, the box will be changed by the tech. Specify to Customer Care that all remotes are doing the same thing
