TWC.com knows I'm in Ohio and giving me only speeds up to 50 megs
Hi Sherri and Ms. Raye,
Yea, I am in Wisconsin as well. It sounds from Sherri's price increase that it is likely that two big promotions expired. It is very hard to find the Starter TV packages, but seemingly easy to find the Triple Play packages! Sherri' did you get a letter about the All Digital Conversion? I did, and for my area of Wisconsin, they said as of June 21st a converter box rented from TWC is required, or you can get a free adapter from TWC until October of 2017. After that time, you will pay the traditional box rental with the converter.
Retentions has been able to help us each year, but it always seems we have to drop something or exchange something to get the rate down. My recommendation for Sherri is the following:
1.) Try to get into some kind of package bundle, Unfortunately, it seems to be the only way that you can get a discount. I have had Triple Play for years, so for these reasons, working with retentions has been less of a struggle, but still not exactly enjoyable. It sucks needing to do this each year.
2.) Think about the services that you use most to least. Make a list of like three or four choices that you would like at a new promotional rate Maybe you could pair up Starter TV with Standard Internet and ask what kind of promotion TWC will give you. It sounds like you don't need Digital Phone. You will need a free converter or a box rental to get your services back because of the All Digital Conversion.
3.) After you have done Step #1 and Step #2 of the above, please send a PM to
Satch
