It takes me 10 minutes to find something I want On-Demand, and then it doesn't list a description of the show, just stuff like 205HD, 206HD, etc. Is there a way to go back to the old

Hi Mike,
What is the make and model of your box? A similar thing happened on my Cisco 9865 DVR in mid July. Only it was a failed Spectrum update that they sometimes do between 12-6am on Tuesday mornings. The boxes are cloud-based, and because of the failed update, I lost the Feature Tour in the Quick Start Menu, All Cover Art, the Keyboard Search was Title Only, and On Demand as well as DVR Manager was totally different.
The cause of this. The boxes are now programmed to go back to the basic guide in the event of a failed-update or a power failure, and restoration of power does not establish a re-communication with the network servers. This will NOT apply, if you have the New Cloud-Based Spectrum Guide on one of the new World Boxes. (a.k.a boxes without a front panel clock.) If you have the New World Box, not running the New Spectrum Guide, a reboot should also resolve this issue and bring back your "normal" guide.
If you have the New Spectrum Guide and it is acting strangly, a reboot might help, but in that case, it won't bring back a different guide. Do not over-reboot your boxes, it strains them. If issues are not resolved following one reboot, a service call may be needed.
