Compared to the Roadrunner webmail interface, Spectrum webmail requires many extra steps. Example: to mark something as Spam requires accessing the dropdown menu, selecting Spam, authorizing your selection, then deleting it from the Spam folder, authorizing your selection, then deleting it from the Trash folder.

In the Roadrunner webmail interface you only needed to select it, push the "Mark as Spam" button and select it in the Trash folder and delete it.

Everything you want to do in the Spectrum webmail interface requires additional steps. Why did you make it more complex when most internet transactions today are trying to simplify their interfaces?

My recommendation is the following:

Switch to a free non-ISP (webmail) provider.  Gmail, Yahoo Mail or Outlook.com.  Get an Adblocker for each web browser, ( I recommend Ad Block Plus) to stop the ads.  More than one Ad Blocker will conflict.

Outlook.com and Gmail will also give you a modern Office suite and full up-to-date email technology.  Yahoo Mail is fine too but doesn't have an Office suite.

1.) Cable providers were never intended to be email providers, so their GUI's and security, as well as feature sets are often "As Is."

2.) If an ISP email goes out of business or chooses not to have email anymore, you would than loose all your email and contacts.  In contrast, web mail such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or Outlook.com is free, and will stay with you for the rest of your life.  You will have a cloud-based communication system, and you will be able to get your messages from anywhere on any device with a web browser and Internet connection.
