I would have it mailed there but it would sit possibly on porch for several days. Not sure what delivery service they use but imagine mailbox on road would not accomodate a box the size of a modem.
I then decided to just pay for install and do an appointment for this Friday when I can be there.
Got emaiil confirmation and it included wifi service which none of my contacts or order have requested. I distinctly remember asking if I was just getting high speed internet. Affirmative mam. I bet they get spiff for any upgrade whether you want it or not. Ha.
Will have to call back tomorrow. sigh
My thoughts,
This sounds like a mess of a mess. I would wait til your Friday install and see what happens than. If you call before Friday, you are just going to have tickets on top of tickets and more confusion. In all of this, if you call before Friday, a rep could accidentally cancel your Friday service call. My recommendation is don't call. Wait til Friday and see what happens.
If things are not looking good after Friday, post back at that time. But let's wait for that appointment to complete first. For our reference here, please reiterate what Spectrum is supposed to do on Friday.
