Thanks, but I was hoping someone knew a way to work around my issue. I've been through all the codes when i set it up the other day, only 1 worked, it's not the remote batteries. Every function the remote passes on it sends two signals, and I actually like this remote, it controls everything just fine, except that one power function.

Some questions,

What key presses are you using on the remote to control your third-party receiver?

This only happens on the third party reciver, correct?

For example, if you pull up the Guide by pressing the Guide button the light goes on only once per press correct?

When you are pressing the remote for the third party reciver, instead of turning on from an off position it is going:

On-Off with one press. (instead of staying on with one press.)

Or from an off postion:

Off-On with one press.

I am thinking the following things:

1.) You have a bad button that is double-clicking. Go to your Spectrum office and swap out the remote for the same model.  If that works, you had a bad button.

2.) If that doesn't work, try a different model remote.

3.) To save yourself trip time, bring in your remote to a Spectrum Office, and see if they can give you two different models of remote to rent.

4.) Go home, and program each to work with your 3rd party hardware.

5.) Keep the remote that works with your device.

6.) If BOTH do the same thing.  I'm afraid your stuck with the remote that came with that hardware.
