My promotion just ended but concerned about making a switch yet because I'm not sure what i'll be losing. I have internet and cable TV so a Double Play option but it seems to switch over I'd lose 100 channels and then after the promotional year with Spectrum. I'll be back to the same price I have now...plus I'm wondering if I'll lose speed...and what about the CableWifi hotspots are those still the same with Spectrum. Thanks everyone. It's kind of scary how aggressive these reps are, i'm almost afraid if i call and ask something they'll just switch me.
Hey,
When your promotion ended, how much was your legacy TWC rate increase? I would probably stay with your TWC plan, especially if you are happy with it. Because of Spectrum being so new, a lot of CSR's have different or conflicting information, largely because they are just getting used to the new billing systems, options, and data structures. I have an awesome TWC package, the best I have ever had in about twenty five years, and am probably saving at least $75-$100 a month over what an ala-carte rate would be at this time.
In say two years or so, after the employees and customers get a stronger foundation on packages and pricing, with the reps better trained on new company policies, I might consider a switch at the time. But for now, there's too much flux and uncertainty.
