Noticed that as soon as spectrum took over, All movies on demand went up in price a 1.25              Before Price was about the same as renting dvd. Will not rent any more on demand movies Cheaper to go to video store

There should be a difference in price depending on if it is an old classic movie or a new release.  I think the range is $1.99-$5.99.  Same day as DVR releases are $9.99.  VOD is still a good deal.  The average cost of a VOD movie is $6.00.  There may have been a small increase due to inflation.  Sports Programing remains the biggest liability of price increases by all TV vender companis, more so than movies.

If you have the Hits on Demand channel, they used to have movies for $2.99 or less.  Check to see if Spectrum changed this.  They give discounts on some movies.  That should be indicated in the movie categories list.  I have also noticed that there are shows that now have 48 hour rental, where in the past, it was 24 hours.  This may vary though.
