Seems to have started when Windows 10 loaded onto old laptop on which we are using IE11. My husband prefers IE11 to Chrome and Edge.  I believe we did try changing to Chrome, with the same results.

Many times a day while browsing, if there is any lag in switching domains, this error message comes up.

Bought a new HP laptop and still experiencing the same thing.  Running Windows 10 with IE11 browser.  We also have a Dell laptop running 8.1 and use Chrome with no problems.

Have researched for the past 3 months for a fix.  Everything from clearing history, cookies, advanced settings on IE11 internet options, clearing dns, proxy settings, compatability view, and today changing laptop IP address.

Anyone have any other ideas for a fix?

Hello,

"Page cannnot be displayed." would have nothing to do with browser used.  Do these steps:

1.) Shut down your computer

2) Unplug your modem and router for five minutes.

3.) Plug both back in and wait for them to reboot..  Wait for all the lights to light.

4.) Boot up your computer.

5.) Still get "Page cannot be displayed?"  Call Spectrum or contact them by sending a PM in this forum to the Forums Help Team.  In that PM, include your name, address, phone number, and account number, and get a tech out to check your signals and drop line.  If those are not good, Internet equipment may need to be replaced.  The tech will determine this.

Any other services besides Internet from Spectrum?  How are they working?  I cannot recommend IE 11 on Windows 10 for security reasons.  Use Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Opera.  They are more secure.

If you are still having trouble with connecting and displaying pages on your computer after the tech comes, what Anti-Virus do you have?  You may need to run a full scan on your system.  But let's do the cold boot of the modem and router by unplugging them with the computer off first.  Than Spectrum should come out and check your signals and drop-line, than if things don't improve, a full virus scan.  I will recommend some other tools if it gets to that point.  Keep us posted.
