The other thing that I would recommend is to search for and get Ad Block Plus on each of your web-browsers. You can search for it within each browser on your computer. It will block so many of the banner ads that can lead to malware on websites, and will even block ads embedded in You Tube videos.
Many laptops priced on the low end will come with trial versions of anti-virus like McAfee or Norton (Symantic.) If I were you I would just use Windows Defender, and uninstall the other Anti-Virus programs that may come with it through Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. You should reboot after uninstalling those programs. Than type in Windows Defender into the Cortana Search box on the left side of the taskbar. Click on it Follow the prompts to activate the program and you should be all set! Set up for Windows Dedender is easy and self-explanatory.
