Example: If I search for "Paw Patrol", it give me the list of Paw Patrol episodes available, but they all say "Paw Patrol" instead of the name of the episode. Obviously they are all Paw Patrol episodes because that's what I searched for! How do I fix this? It just changed one day recently, they used to always be listed by episode name. Thank you.
I am having the same problem!
Box is a Cisco 9865 with the Navigator Guide. Search now shows just the names of the show title., and I have to click the select button to open up each episode to get the description of the episode and episode number. We had a commercial power failure last week, so the box auto-rebooted and now it is not like it was two weeks. ago.
I follow Boxing, and now all the searches for Boxing just show the word Boxing with a bunch of folders rather than the specific bout. I have to open up each individual folder to get to the description of the match. The New component, next to each folder helps some, but I should be seeing the specific program information. What I am seeing now is just episode names for series, where I have to scroll down and click on each one to see the episodes name and title.. Or for the boxing shows, the need to open up each Boxing folder in Search results to see what that match is that is scheduled.
After recording to DVR, note that if I go to the DVR list, the proper name and episodes title and show number appears correctly, just not in the search. Location is Brookfield, WI. 53045.
OP, where are you located? City? Zip code? I think we got a guide update pushed that messed up the search database results.

PS. Zip code is now correct, it was wrong before.
Update,
Two weeks ago, when you searched for a show, you would get the episode title with season number in the search results, so using the above users example you would be able to get the season number and episode title of The Simpsons (or any other series) in search results.
Since last week, when you search for a series, such as the Simpsons, you will get the show name "The Simpsons" in search results, and now must press Select to open up each show title to see the season, episode number, and title, of this, or any other series.
Searching for Boxing now brings up a list of folders with the word Boxing. You have to click on each folder to see what matches are being shown. New messages are next to new folder content. The Boxing Event category used to show all boxing shows by name of of the match in search results. It no longer does that.
Finally, a placeholder year is needed for shows with the exact same name in the search database. The 1970's version of Match Game on GSN needs a (1973-1979) year added on to the search database, The new boxes are only picking up the ABC Alec Baldwin old season 2 version in keyboard search results.
The only way to search for the Gene Rayburn Match Game version is to do the following:
1.) Browse through the Time Grid.
2.) Press the On Demand Button-Select "Browse by Network",
3.) Find GSN and select Match Game that way.
The Advanced Search keyboard is missing a lot of data that should be picked up by the system and is not.
