I got a new remote (RC 122) and it doesn’t have one button which will turn on more than one device at a time. Really poor remote since virtually everyone needs to turn on at least 2 devices: a tv and cable box. Shame on you Spectrum.
That one button is the POWER button and it needs to be programmed to control the on/off functions of your TV. (The Power button may be called the System Button on other remotes.)
Here is the information for the RC-122 remote:
https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/support/program-your-remote/RC122.html
First, try the Auto Search Method per these instructions for this brand of remote:

Turn on the device, such as your TV, that you want the remote to operate.

On your remote, press the corresponding device button [such as TV, DVD, CBL] and the SELECT/OK buttons simultaneously until all the device buttons blink twice.

Point the remote at the device and press 9 9 1. The device button you selected in step 2 blinks twice.

Press the PLAY arrow button one time.

If your device powers off, go to step 6. If not, press the REWIND or FF arrow buttons to step through the available codes until it does.

Press SELECT/OK as soon as the device powers off.

Verify that the correct code has been selected by pressing the POWER button. Your device should turn back on. If it does, try changing the channel to verify programming was successful.

Press SELECT/OK to store the code.
Note: If your remote does not control your component after following the steps above, try the Manual method.
Click on the Download Remote Manual and follow the code programing instructions for your TV if the above steps do not work.
