Depending on the box and guide you have you can adjust the volume to try to keep commercials balanced. Are you a legacy Charter sub or a legacy TWC sub before the Spectrum merger? If you have the guide called Navigator, press Settings on your Remote, and go to Devices. In the Devices menu, there should be an audio level option. You will want to set that to "Fixed." and save your changes.
You can also use your TV's audio settings to look for an audio balance setting that does the same thing, if your box or guide does not have this setting. Most modern TV's should have this.
