Cable providers were never designed to be email providers. Road Runner email is dated by about fifteen-twenty years. I strongly recommend switching to a Webmail provider such as Yahoo Mail, Gmail, or Outlook.com. Better security, more reliable, and always up to date.
Additionally, you can use a Webmail account on any device with Internet access for the rest of your life. Office Suites for free are available as well with Gmail (Google Drive) and Outlook.com (Office Online.) which provides about 80% of the paid Office versions. Roadrunner is too dated and to much of a security risk to be used anymore.
If you don't have an ad-blocker for each of your browsers when moving to Webmail, get Ad Block plus for each browser. You should have only one ad-blocker per browser, as more than one will conflict.
