Greetings,
If your modem is old, like five years or more, it could be a Doc Sis 2.0 or lower model. You need a Dic Sis 3.0 modem to take advantage of the higher forthcoming speed upgrades. If this applies to you and you rent a modem from TWC, call for a modem upgrade. Try to request an Arris over a U-Bee modem, as the Arris are much better quality. If you have a Wireless Router it should at least be Series N to get the best signals.
Are your Internet signals dropping? In that case, get a tech out to check your main drop-line. Weathering can corrode outside wiring over the years, causing Internet problems that can spread to all of your cable services if left unchecked.
