These past few weeks have been extremely frustrating, and I have been seriously considering cutting cable over this. Every single day after work I turn on my TV and every other channel is unavailable. I'm forced to reboot my box to get the channels back but considering the long reboot times and how little TV I watch anyway i'm starting to not even bother with it. If channels do come in, the channel will blink on and off or the sound will cut in and out repeatedly until a reboot . This comes after another price jump on my bill, seems like you guys don't want my money anymore. LOL as I'm writing this my channel I was just watching just became unavailable. Netflix Hulu here I come.
Hi Andrew,
You most likely have an issue with a bad signal or drop-line and will need a technician to come out to your house and do a signal and drop line test. Specify this in the work order. This is very fixable! Request a signal or drop line test by sending a PM with your name, account information, and phone number to
It is rare that this is a box issue, but the tech will replace the box if the signals, lines, and wiring are good. A swapped box won't solve bad signals levels, so you will need to get your lines and signals checked and probably upgraded.
