Because the technician only had the old model with him, he went ahead and install it. I only found out the next day that the LIST button did not work. Again, it's a shame that Spectrum does not provide technicians with newer equipment. They charged for the DVR service but don't provide the quality of services that customers are entitled.
Update,
I just heard back. List works on the new Spectrum Guide World Box DVR's. No clock 4-tuners 1TB of storage. It also works in the boxes with the clocks that have 2-tuners 500GB of storage as well as the ODN Navigator guide.
There are six tuner boxes with 1-TB of storage that have clocks, but they are becoming very rare, but are the best If you need the DVR List functionality. I would recommend going to a Spectrum Store and upgrading your box. I would say, try to get one with a clock, because the Spectrum Guide has not been rolled out to boxes with clocks yet. The Spectrum Guide still has some bugs. Right now, the Spectrum Guide is only on World Boxes, (no clocks.) The best boxes are the six-tuner Arris 3600 and Cisco 9865 DVR's, but they are becoming very rare. I-Guide is no longer being updated by Spectrum. But at the same time, you may want to keep it til it dies just to avoid getting a box with problems.
Spectrum did not intentionally remove I-Guide from those boxes. I-Guide is a 15-year old platform supported by several cable systems for many years. The DVR List button on the remote was intended for newer guides and boxes.
