One comment I read said it was from card services, I received the V numbers that were spoofing my own phone number.  Several calls were from someone saying they were from microsoft (microsoft won't call you, onless you ask them to).  Other V numbers were from  someone wanting to replace my windows, etc.  V numbers can be from any Tom, **bleep** or Harry.

Hi,

To stop those annoying Robocalls and Telemarketers, Go to My Account and log in with your user name and password like you do on the forums.  Go to "Voice Services" (Phone Services.)

Find "Nomorobo" and turn it on, saying yes to "Activate Answer Anywhere" when prompted.  Save your changes.

Now, any calls from Spammers and Telemarketers, including those "V" calls will be dropped after the first ring so that they can't leave a message.  One ring is required for Nomorobo to screen the calls, occasionally two.  But you won't get messages from the spammer calls anymore.

If your Cable Box has Caller ID on TV, you will still see the calls on your list, but not on  your phone.  Calls from school closings, pharmacies, doctors, and hospitals are always allowed through.  The system updates every hour 24/7 to stop Robocalls.

We have had Nomorobo activated for three years, and only two telemarketer type calls were able to leave messages.  You can also go to Nomorrobo's website if a call is coming through that should be blocked (blacklisted.) Or a call is being blocked that should be allowed (Whitelisted.)

The blocking of the Robocalls should begin right away when you turn on Nomorobo, but give it about 12 hours to sync with the system just in case.
