The oweners of Cinemax wanted a rate increase, so to keep costs down, Spectrum is removing the channel from Silver and Gold packages on or after February 15, 2019.
Meanwhile, Epix is under new owenership (MGM) and they want their channel to be ala-carte on ALL vendors. They will also be ala-carte on Spectrum, removed from Spectrum Gold, on or after February 15, 2019.
