WHy Why Why?
It was bad enough when TWC decided to alphabetize the cable and/or call letters for no apparent reason since there was no need BUT now it is not even possible to find out what is programmed for that or any other evening.
AGAIN. WHY. Why Why Why
Hello Jeanne,
What box do you have? Typically all the modern, (non SA boxes) now have the modern guide. I can help with some things. Some divisions have an alphabetical guide filter, which your posts indicates you don't like. To get rid of it and apply a few filter:
Guide Filter
Press Guide Twice on your remote
Change the filter setting to the channels you want to see in the Time Grid. My favorite is Subscribed. Than you only see the stations in your package.
Searching
TWC offers an advanced keyboard search system that allows users to search for different content. I am assuming you have one of the newer boxes. Please reply if you don't. The boxes with the new search are Cisco, Arris, and Samsung models.
Press B on your remote to go to the keyboard search screen. Depending on how your search settings are configured, you may also see titles on the right hand side of the screen that match the show you are watching:
1.) You can right-arrow over to those shows and press Select to see all instances of that program title.
2.) You can begin your search at the advanced keyboard. From the Time Grid, press B, or left arrow to the keyboard. Key in the content you are searching for. You can search for the following:
- Movies
- TV Shows
- Sports
- Events
- Genres
- Actors.
3.) Some boxes have the ability to sort search results depending on the type of search selected.
4.) You should be able to use the arrow keys and select to highlight a show or series, Press Select to take options on it.
