List the model number for this remote please.  Also you said,  "Cable Box Adapter"  due you have a tuning adapter?  Spectrum only provides limited support for tuning adapters.  You would need a Spectrum Cable Box (rented from Spectrum) to insure the proper functionality with the remote.  TA's are provided "As is"
