It sounds like you have one of the much older SA model or Motorola boxes that because of the age of the hardware, cannot provide TWC's new modern guide. If you update your box to either an Arris, Cisco, or Samsung model, you will get an awesome On Demand Portal Channel that can be accessed with one button on your remote that shows Cover Art for Movies and Shows. In addition to that, all the menus are in HD, the search is more powerful, and you have a much easier to use DVR Manager for series and shows, which allows you to delete multiple shows at once. You will also get three to six times more DVR storage.
You can get the ball rolling on this right away, mention that your old box is very slow and sluggish, and request a truck roll to get that box updated to a new model with the new guide features mentioned above. You will be amazed at the difference! Send a PM with your name, phone number, and account # to the following link requesting an updated box model:
I would also request in the work order for the box upgrade that the tech perform a signal and drop line test, just to make sure that you don't have pixilation or audio drop outs down the road with the new box. Good luck with this and post back how this went.
