This is an absurd way to do business. I can't pay that balance and all that will happen is time warner will lose ANOTHER paying customer. Ridiculous.

What a mess. I would contact TWC with your account information through a PM with this story. Go to
Work with them through the PM system to get this resolved. You should not have had to pay any part of your Aunt's balance, and if that was an issue at all, the sales rep should have let you know before new service was establsiehd. But again, someone else's account is NOT your issue. That is between your Aunt and TWC/Spectrum. You are entitled to get the money back that was a part of your Aunt's delinquent account. (If you had to pay HER bill.) You have done nothing wrong.
