For example free movies.... there used to be around 375 to 400 free movies that showed up on the list now I typically show between 75 and 85 free movies on the list. When I go to on demand channel 500 and then free movies they show 24 pictures and then the 25th picture says view more which should take you to the complete list. This list only has 17 pictures today and 83 items in the free movies complete list and none of the ones listed in the pictures are on the list. Examples are Admission, Captain Phillips. Another example is tv shows catch up, the exorcist only has episodes 8, 9, and 10. This changes periodically. They have done the troubleshooting remotely and rebooted everything as well as I have and I'm really not trying to sound snarky but I'm getting sick of explaining this over and over. Do they not keep a record of customer issues?
The above is the message I sent private message to the mediator. This is the 4th time I have taken the time to explain this to TWC/SPECTRUM. My response didn't address ANYTHING I said. UNBELIEVABLE! ON DEMAND HASN'T WORKED CORRECTLY SINCE NOVEMBER
Cher,
Can you order the movies and shows? Do they come in clearly without freezing or pixilation? Do they show within about 30 seconds of making your selection. If so, there is nothing wrong with your Video on Demand.
The amount of listings and cover art for movies and shows relates to the software on your box in conjunction with Spectrum's On Demand Services. The guide is cloud-based and episodes, as well as number of episodes and the pictures that you will see will change. Pictures are shown for the most current releases or most popular movies and shows. This could be an arbitrarily number of 50-80 releases. Spectrum would not be able to show every movie in its library in the cover art format due to memory limitations and server bandwidth.
Grancenote is the company that provides the guide and on demand movies and shows to Spectrum. Gracenote is a third-party company. Unless you are having a specific problem purchasing, playing back, or are experiencing long delays or set top box errors with On Demand, you do not have an issue.
