1) One Shot Timers work correctly. These Reminders may be set in the Guide Grid (Set Reminder) or in Settings/Timers. The timer executes the Channel Change , the Grid Highlighting is cleared, and the Timer is removed from the Timer List.
2) The problem occurs with Recurrent Timers/Reminders. These are Daily, Weekdays, Every Wednesday etc. Timers.
After programming a new Timer, The first time the Timer is scheduled, the Timer executes the Channel Change correctly and the Grid Highlighting Remains.
However, Subsequent Timer occurences fail to execute even though the Grid is Correctly Highlighted and the Timer remains in the Timers List.
This is a Software Programing Bug that must be corrected. I am not sure how to notify Spectrum to fix this. Any advice would be appreciated.
Greetings Pav,
Post this story in the "New Guide Feedback Suggestions and Help" thread created here:
You will also need to include the makes and model number of both boxes and the city/state where you are located. Ask that this information be sent as a Bug Report found in the Navigator ODN 8.0 software. Request that the mods forward this feedback to the Program Guide Development Team.
A mod should respond within 24 hours of posting by replying in that thread that your bug report has been submitted. If they need more information, they may request that you contact them with account information through a PM. They probably won't need PM information. Thanks for mentioning this.
