First thing to do is to go to Series Manager, and see what shows are in the Series Manager. If no shows are in the Series Manager, you should not have randomly reoccurring series , recording for no reason.
Any small children or other people in the house who might be playing with the remote and not knowing what they are doing?
What is the make and model of the DVR?
Is there a pattern to the series that are randomly being recorded. What are the shows in question?
