When I pan over and use the "View All" option there are 1700+ movies. This is far too many to scan through just by alphabetical! Filters like:
Release Date or even just Year
Rating
Free or $ Cost
Also, we should be able to see the new releases AT EXACTLY 12 Midnight when they are released. I am speaking of the movie covers, not just having to look through those 1700+ titles. An example is: the new Jack Reacher came out but I do not see it on the front page with the movie cover. I found it had come out by scanning through the 1700 titles, which I stopped after about 20 mins of scanning through. It is 1am Wednesday and there has been no update to the movie covers on the front page. Logan has been out 8 days now and nothing else has been added since yesterday's Tuesday.
We cannot rent movies if you do not promote them better. Do not give us a list of 1700+ movies to scan thru only alphabetically. Some gems will truly be missed! Also, this 1700+ list shows us movies to rent like "Blended." This a Romance Classic that has been out and which I consider commonly viewed, even having been watched on channels like TNT. Somehow we have to see these kinds of movies listed, making the page 1700 titles long!
Please give us better filter options and update the Movie Listings (showing movie covers) at Midnight when Spectrum releases them for viewing.
EDIT: Also, a nice feature would to be able to watch that New Release Movie I just rented for 3 days on my iPad. Currently, we can only watch them from my TV that my box is on.
Hello,
I agree about having better organization for movie titles with the Guide Update that this is needed. You can go to the On Demand Portal button. Press that, and you can get a search keyboard of VOD titles.
The movie distributor makes the call when Spectrum gets the VOD content. Updating at exactly midnight may not be possible. This can take a few days for the new releases to show. TV series can take two to seven days to show on VOD, and is at the hands of Gracenote. They do the programing for many cable, dish, and other online systems. Gracenote must first get the movie data, than Spectrum must get the authorization from the network or movie studio to put the content on their VOD server.
