For the record, Laff was on channel 999, Gettv was on 997, and Bounce was on 996. Gettv and Laff were moved from WYFX-LD 19.2 and 19.3 to make way for My YTV (HD feed) Bounce, and Ion Television. Thanks for the help.
Hi Palmer,
My understanding is that GetTV, Bounce, and Laff are digital subchannels. Subchannels require the main channel in order to broadcast In Wisconsin, we lost Grit and Get TV. Spectrum added Bounce and the Movies! network. We got This TV back after it had been dropped. There could have been a drop in those main channels due to a higher rate from the host channel than Spectrum was willing to pay. Or they could have moved the stations to a different network or tier. What is your zip code? A Spectrum moderator might be able to find out what happened to those channels in your market,
If you want these channels back, you can fill out a Channel Feedback Form here:
https://www.spectrum.com/channelrequests
You can also call Spectrum and ask about restoring those channels to your line up. You can contact them through Twitter by Tweeting to @Ask Spectrum. You will need to provide your zip code for your service area. I wonder what main channel was dropped in your area to force those sub-stations off your lineup?
