These issues are often a problem with your signal levels or drop line.  What you will need to do is call Spectrum for a Signal and Drop Line Test service call.  Do not reboot any equipment for at least six hours prior to this service call.  (i,e Cable Boxes, Modems, or Routers.)  Equipment reboots will reset the error codes back to zero and the tech needs to be able to read these codes.  You may have a problem with your main line, or it could be an issue further down your street related to your tap.  These issues are almost never box or equipment related.  Set up your signal and drop line test.
