I have read that the whole transition to Charter is expected to begin in new areas within six months and is expected to end in eighteen months. The times are very approximate. However, once things get finalized with the merger, Charter will be offering a choice of it's own packages and pricing, or you will be able to stay in your existing package. I am sure that special deals and promotions will be offered by Charter once the billing systems are complete. This may take a very long time.
Have you negotiated for a new deal? You seem frustrated by the loss of DVR Service. Have you called TWC/Charter to ask about a new promotion, which includes DVR service?
